Well, today was the day that we were going to carve our pumpkin, making a memory that Jack would remember forever...but, he could have cared less! He's never really been sensitive to "gross" stuff like this, but i guess he thinks pumpkins are quite yucky.

Pumpkin Patch II
Jack was having a little trouble picking up his pumpkin, part of the problem was that it had goatheads in it--only in New Mexico! We did bring this one home, and are going to carve any day now! Thank you grandma for his Spooky shirt!!
Pumpkin Patch
Last weekend we went out to the East Mountains to McCall's pumpkin patch with our friends Damien and Hannah, and their niece Piper. Jack was very nervous around her the whole afternoon, maybe he's got a thing for blondes. I'm not sure Jack was able to appreciate all the festivities, but his mom and dad sure did!!

The Last Two Months in Three Videos!!
Sorry we're so lazy about putting videos up, no excuses. Anyways, here is a couple of our recent outings--the zoo and the State Fair. It seems like all of Jack's favorite books are animal themed, and he seems to come back from the zoo with a new word each time lately! It's not always the right word, but oh well.
The Fair was a bit overwhelming with all the people, but he was thoroughly blown away by seeing a cow and horse in real life!

Putting on Shoes
We were having some problems posting--all three videos were supposed to be together as to be watched in sequence, but oh well, you get the picture.
An Afternoon Full of Activities
This is a very typical day in the life of Jack. He gets a bit of cabin fever come the afternoon and loves going to play in the backyard. He has learned that he can't go outside without his shoes (darn those goatheads!), and our giant sandbox of a backyard is turning out to be quite fun for him! After a long day of playing, nothing beats a little avocado and water! Actually, anytime someone is eating or drinking he'll make that face at you!
